Founded by Creative Director Victoria Weiss, Future Hana brings together over two decades of experience across branding, illustration, animation, publishing, murals, and digital design. We operate through a carefully cultivated collective of trusted designers, strategists, writers, developers, and creative specialists—handpicked collaborators with whom we've built lasting working relationships. For each engagement, Victoria personally assembles the right team, ensuring a highly hands-on, principal-led approach from first conversation to final delivery. Having worked with clients across New York, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Virginia Beach, and Richmond, Victoria brings a multidisciplinary perspective that balances creative intuition with strategic thinking.
THE NAME
The name Hana means flower in Japanese—a symbol of organic growth, resilience, and natural beauty.

VICTORIA WEISS
Principal-Led Creative Design Consultant/Director
Victoria Weiss is a seasoned art and design entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience spanning branding, animation, publishing, art licensing, illustration, surface design, and visual storytelling. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Victoria's career has been shaped by her work in design studios, animation, and publishing. She also holds a UX/UI Certificate from General Assembly, expanding her expertise into user-centered design and digital product experiences. Early collaborations with Honest Entertainment (creator of Fido Dido), XXL Magazine, and Davis Ad Agency gave her invaluable industry experience working with top-tier clients in licensing, music, publishing, and branding.
Victoria's career path also led her to Hong Kong, where she co-founded a small co-working studio with a fellow Parsons graduate, gaining valuable freelance experience and strengthening her organizational and client management skills.
In 2005, she moved to Virginia Beach, where she launched Butterpop Art, a multidisciplinary art and design studio. With a background in children's animation, Victoria's work is deeply rooted in creativity and storytelling, and Butterpop Art became known for its thoughtful, client-driven approach to design across hospitality, fine dining, fashion, corporate, and wellness industries.
Notable accomplishments include publishing children's books through Dash Editora in São Paulo, Brazil, with debut appearances at the Frankfurt Book Festival; developing original illustration and surface design collections for exhibition at Surtex in New York City; designing the Orion's Roof logo for a Japanese restaurant atop the Marriott in Virginia Beach and side passions like painting large-scale murals in the Neon Art District (Norfolk) and Vibe Creative District (Virginia Beach), including work as a mural artist for the first Something in the Water festival.
For the past four years, Victoria has called Richmond, Virginia home, where she now leads Future Hana — bringing two decades of cross-industry creative experience to brands ready to grow with intention.
Victoria's work is guided by her core belief that good design is both solution-based and visually compelling. Her unique ability to run a business while staying deeply connected to her craft has made her a trusted creative partner for brands across industries.
Outside of the agency, Victoria has a love for boxing and keep to yoga practioning after teaching for over 6 years. A bit Hobonichi journaling addicted and continues with her personal painting practice. She is also a beyond proud mom to her teenage daughter.
